Welcome Everyone
Central Support Groups exist to provide support and understanding for people suffering various illnesses. Most of the members of this group are sufferers or survivors who have first hand experience.
On this website and in our online chat channels, you will find support and understanding from others with the same illnesses. Some of the channels are new and just starting and some are well established channels. In any of the channels that you go to be sure to hang around for a little while so you can catch other members, just jumping in and out doesn't get the chats started at all. We have found that talking to others in the same boat that understand really helps a lot.

About the channels
#cancer-survivors is a channel that has been around for 14+ years and has helped a lot of people. Ron aka `Bear is the channel manager of that channel. He has been a member for 14 years.
#Dialysis is a new channel supporting sufferers of kidney disease and their families. The manager of that channel is RideTeach
#Grief_Support is a channel set up to provide help and healing for those dealing with the grief and loss of a loved one. polgara is the channel manager

Accessing The Channels If you are new to IRC chat you are welcome to try our webchat. Alternatively you may like to install an IRC client. A good free one is Chatzilla. Some good shareware ones are XChat and mirc. Once you have either of those installed you can click on the chat links below and it will automatically open up the client and join those channels on EFNet.
